The best you can have is some pinky-purple saturated color for the eyes.- There's is no way you can turn to gray the numbers by yourself.- It's laggy on the computer i use to play MMO.And for me last point is making the game so unconfortable to play that I will just uninstall it and never come back to it. When you try to go fill something on the other side of the puzzle and the game is just not responding for a couple of sec, or when you try to fill 6 square with one clic and the game has a lag making everything freeze for a couple of sec, then color everything between where your mouse was and where it think it is now. Not acceptable at all. I could tolerate that on a \u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 smartphone, but not on a good computer.. Not a lot to say other than it is an excellent Picross game. Puzzles are all logic solvable, ranging from 5x5 up to 20x35, and cover a wide range of challenge. User interface is easy to use and smooth, and with taking 79 hours to reach 100% completion, the distraction time I got out of a $3 investment is incredible value (and it comes with three save files, so multiple people can play, or you can replay without erasing your original file). And while I didn't need it, I think Pepper's introductory lessons would be an effective teaching tool to help people new to picross learn the logic to solving the puzzles.Only real complaints I have are...1. Timers were clearly set solely on the grid size, without considering the complexity (if hints are a few large numbers, or a whole pile of small ones). Some of the puzzles feel unfairly short on allowed time, particularly in the Food category; meanwhile, one puzzle in Art gets a 20 minute timer due to its large size, but should take no one - not even a novice - more than 20 seconds to complete.2. In the mosiacs, some of the pieces are so simple, they literally are one square to fill in - the entrie grid, except the one square, is auto-cancelled out, so there is only on square you can select, and when you do so, that piece is done.3. While I liked it, I can see a picross purist not liking that, upon completing a puzzle, it then "colours in" to make a non-monochrome picture, and therefore the base puzzle generally is not a "perfect" picture in its monochrome state. I found that improved the challenge - even when you can figure out what the picture is going to be, you can't just assume you know how the rest of the puzzle will lay out, so you can't shortcut the logic.Great game.. It's Picross. If you're looking for a polished Picross game with a lot of content then you'll enjoy Pepper's Puzzles. I love the pixel art in this game, which features lots of references to other media. The weakest point is the music. The game uses royalty free music tracks that I've also heard on Youtube videos. I just muted it and listened to my own music or Twitch streams in the background.. Pepper's Puzzles is a very good Picross incarnation, the variety of picross is great, the music is excellent which is something essential in these type of games and the interface works without being clumsy or unintuitive.Give it a try! Long live Picross!. Pepper's Puzzle is a black and white nonogram puzzler. All of these have to measure up to three things, in order to be good.1. Unique solutions: I didn't have to guess once up to now, and I am 50ish levels in, with a few challenges done as well.2. Controls: The controls are intuitive and easy, no strange decisions, punished missclicks or anything.3. Presentation: There is sadly no story mode, but the presentation is clean and charming, the soundtrack is good and lets you concentrate without getting bored.So yes, this is a very good nonogram puzzler. At the cost of two similar magazines with the same content, it might be a sale title, but it is recommendable nonetheless.
